Body Contouring

No matter how carefully we watch our diet or work out and lift weights, it’s nearly impossible to tone and shape specific areas of our bodies with exercise alone. This is especially true as we get older.

Dr. Aviles is highly trained in the areas of body contouring. Whether you are focusing on a small area, or seek to improve the overall shape and silhouette of your body, we offer a number of procedures than can help.

  • Abdominoplasty/Belt Lipectomy

Sometimes referred to as a “tummy tuck,” this procedure also involves the removal of excess fat and skin. Some cases may also require repair to weakened or disconnected abdominal muscles. The overall result is a flatter, more firm and smooth shape to the abdominal area. A belt lipectomy involves a circumferential lift which encompasses the abdomen and back.

  • Liposuction

The removal of fat via a suction device can be used on select patients and is often performed as an adjunct to the other procedures described on this page.

  • Body Lift

Body contouring may be required in some cases, for example, following major weight loss. The technique improves the shape and elasticity of the internal tissue that supports surface fat and skin. It is performed on multiple areas, including the thigh, arm, breast(s), abdomen and back, with the goal of correcting and improving the overall body appearance and shape.

  • Arm Lift (Brachioplasty)

By removing or reducing excess skin, tissue, and fat along the arm, this procedure can reshape and provide a smoother, more proportionate and toned appearance to the arm.

  • Thigh Lift (Thighplasty)

Similar to an arm lift, excess tissue is removed to improve the appearance of the thigh.

To get started, schedule an initial consultation. We’ll walk you through the procedure, identify whether you’re a candidate for breast surgery, and provide information on what’s involved. To make an appointment click here or contact us.
